Only for old-GM. Current GM was born July 10th, 2009.

I’d be hard-pressed to come up with a GM product I want other than this.

I knew someone that had a Pontiac Parisi e nn e. By the end, it only had one working door handle. Our family had a Buick Roadmaster wagon, with working door handles. It wasn’t that bad of a car, other than it was a total 1980s boat. But it could fit an entire 4' x8' sheet of goods in the back with the seats down , no issue.

I like Parisiennes. I have an Electra wagon of same vintage. It has its charm. I can’t flip down the tailgate like in that picture though because my rear window won’t roll all the way in.

Corvette GTP. Before racing Vettes was cool (again).

It’s hard to get across how stunning these things are in person. And that interior, oh my! So much green everything! And the gas pedal feels like some sort of foot control for a musical instrument. More of an on/off switch.

Ouch. Fair, but ouch.
We had a pale yellow
Cimarron when I was in high school. My brother and I both stuck it in ditches, mangled up the same fender twice...

I’ll take all three.

Oddly, the only thing that has really broken on my Tundra in twenty years and 215k miles is the door handle.

The good old days, when people were worried about cars killing them!

Here’s a GM thing... acres of hard cracked plastic and a sea of tiny buttons.

Wait... have you driven one?

No, no, no, but I sure wish. I sat in one at an auto show some years back and my goodness was that an experience of a lifetime. Here’s a video screenshot from the day that shows the pedal box.
If I recall, the big black thing on the left is the brake pedal and I think it was made of wood. Pretty sure it said S T O P on it like a golf cart. Both pedals were similar although the brake pedal was really wide . Both were basically an on/off switch. They had very little travel. All my photos are really terrible though and I didn’t find a suitable internet photo.
I would highly recommend it if possible. Now that’s command seating.
EDIT:
So you can see the gas pedal but I don’t think that chrome piece is the brake pedal in this one. I recall it being a large flat thing with S T O P printed on it. They both felt like something from an electric golf cart.

Probably the most interesting vehicle I have ever sat in. And the most historically significant as that specific one was on the national registry of historic vehicles.

That’s really cool. I can’t think of any historically significant cars or trucks I’ve been in.
I got to sit in my dad’s friend’s Oakland when I was a little kid. That’s probabl y the oldest. A s far as interesting vehicles, I’ ve driven a Ferrari 458, and one of the DUKWs up in Boston (in boat mode).
If we expand vehicles to include non-cars, I got to fly in a B-29, and I spent a few years “driving ” a Los Angeles class fast attack submarine.

Let me see, sat in a Futurliner, sat in a custom 2CV featured o n Chasing Classic Cars (seats are surprisingly comfortable) , and, well, ummm, idk not much else. Sat in a RHD Jaaaaaaaaaag though, that was cool. Coolest car I’ve ridden in was a 70s convertible Mustang so the bar is fairly low. Oh, I did ride shotgun in a private plane once but I was so little I could barely see out the window except when the plane was banked slightly. I was too young to remember much.
Oooh, Oakland. That’s an old one. What sort was it? I don’t know that brand very well but they are fairly obscure.
Most interesting vehicle I’ve driven (and oldest) is my dad’s 2002 Toyota Tundra TRD. Not a very high bar there either. My actual real automotive experience is extremely limited.
The attack submarine is very interesting. I could never spent much time below water in a confined space like that.

The 2CV sounds awesome! Very cool that it was featured on CCC.
Your 2CV and Jag comment reminded me that I’ ve ridden in my friend’s Audi Quattro rally car, and driven his Lancia Delta Integrale, which was shown on Motor Week.
I took a couple flying lessons, so I’ve flown a Cessna 172 and a Tampico TB9.
The submarine thing isn’t as awful as most people think. And by driving one I meant that I was the throttleman. It takes a team of about 25 or so folks to drive a nuclear submarine safely and efficiently.

First glance at the thumbnail, I thought you’d posted a Tempo/Topaz coupe. It would have been expert-level trolling on the FP.

I saw a regular 2CV once but this was not that.
Can confirm: the eggs in the custom break body were not broken. Though I suspect the French farmers of yore weren’t transporting them in cardboard cartons. That was a real experience. I very much would like to own a 2CV one day. It’s pretty much at the top of my affordable classic list.
Haha wait you just leave out a little something like driving two legendary rally cars? I would kill to drive either of those. Got any photographic evidence?
Were the flying le ss ons related at all to your military career or just independent dabbling? That sounds like a ton of fun. From the murky depths of my memory my ride high in the sky was exhilarating . I’ve actually only been in an airplane three times total.
